Israel’s Amputee Soccer Team was hosted at the Knesset's Subcommittee on Sports, where its players received certificates of appreciation from MK Simon Davidson, following Turkey’s attempts to humiliate them. "In this case, it doesn’t matter what others say—what matters is what we do."

In the European Championship in Paris, Israel’s Amputee National Team defeated Greece 2-1, with Avian Ohana scoring twice. Ohana now has three goals, one behind Ben Maman (4). This is Israel’s first win after three losses and a draw.

The Turkish team scored early and maintained control. Israel struggled to generate scoring chances, and the hostile crowd chanted political slogans, creating a difficult debut at the tournament.

Held before bereaved families, the match was about far more than football — a powerful moment of connection, healing, and purpose, highlighting wounded soldiers and athletes who chose life through sport.
